Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the location?

We partner with PCA Korea, an international school campus in Seoul, to host our summer camps.

We are centrally located in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam District, right off three major subway lines: Seollung Station (Line 2), Hanti Station (Suin Bundang Line), and Dogok Station (Line 3).

When are the camp’s hours?

We begin each exciting day at 10:00 a.m. and conclude by 4:00 p.m. Please help the staff by picking up your child on time!

Is it OK that my child doesn’t speak any Korean?

Yes! it is completely fine if your child doesn't speak any Korean. Our summer camp is designed to provide a unique language and cultural immersion experience for kids of all backgrounds. Our curriculum is not only focused on introducing students to Hangeul, but also prioritizing making the experience fun and engaging for them. Our program will include a variety of cultural activities and excursions that allow students to experience the language and culture first-hand, beyond the classroom.

At the heart of our mission, we believe that this approach not only makes language learning more effective in the long run, but also helps empower children to develop a deeper curiosity and appreciation of the language and culture that lasts their entire life.

Age groups

We will be offering camp for Grades 1-8. Our youngest campers must be six years old and entering Grade 1 in the fall.

Do you provide rides or housing?

We do not provide rides or housing at this time.

Are snacks and meals included?

Yes! We include delicious snacks and freshly catered lunches everyday. We mainly ask that you pack a water bottle with your child, and note any special allergies or food considerations in the checkout form on the Registration page.

Can a student just attend a few days instead of attending the full week?

Our summer camp is designed to provide a comprehensive language and cultural immersion experience for our students. In order to fully benefit from the program, we strongly recommend that students attend the entire week. This ensures that they are able to participate in all of the language-learning activities, cultural excursions, and social events that we offer. It also allows them to build deeper connections with their fellow students and instructors, which can be an important aspect of the overall experience.

While we understand that it may not be possible for everyone to attend the entire week, we believe that it is the best way for students to get the full benefit of our program.

Cancellation policy

We understand that circumstances may change, and plans may need to be adjusted. Therefore, we offer an 80% refund for cancellations made up to 30 days before the start of camp.

Please note that this refund policy is applicable to cancellations made within the specified timeframe. If you meet the said criteria and would like to cancel your registration, please email us at hwarang@k-camp.co.

Does your camp provide insurance?

No. We highly recommend all campers purchase traveler's insurance when traveling to Korea. This insurance helps protect you in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as travel interruptions and medical emergencies. We recommend that parents/guardians purchase a comprehensive policy that covers all aspects of travel to Korea.

It's important to note that we are not liable for any incidents that may occur during travel to or from our camp in Korea. While we take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of our campers, we cannot be held responsible for any mishaps that may occur during travel. Therefore, we strongly encourage all families to purchase traveler's insurance for their children's trip to Korea.
